Joy to the World…Arriving Missionaries December 17, 2014

President Rahlf has taught all through December that we, as missionaries, are today's heavenly host, bringing good tidings of great joy.  So it is joy to the world, as our newest "heavenly host" arrived in the mission field, ready to share the message of Christ and His restored gospel.

It was a twist on our usual arrival day, though.  The Travel Desk in Manila was unable to get all of our arriving missionaries on the flight into Cauayan, so they were flown two hours north to Tuguegarao instead.  They were greeted at the airport there by Zone Leaders
Elder Stephenson and Elder Espino along with one of our senior couples,
Elder and Sister Leslie.

Coming from the airport

Vans had been hired to bring our Elders and Sisters to the mission home in  Cauayan where we enjoyed a late lunch, had an orientation, and personal interviews with President Rahlf.

Although the normal schedule was off by several hours, everyone was happy and excited to meet their new companion and begin service in the field.
