We had a wonderful conference with Alicia, Cauayan and Roxas Zones.  The format for the day was the same (see April 19th post for summary) with the following:

April Zone Conferences "The Book of Mormon" April 19, 2016 Burgos, Ilagan, Tuguegarao North and Tuguegarao South Zones

We began our second quarter round of Zone Conferences in Ilagan on April 19th.  Our theme for these conferences is The Book of Mormon.  We have just completed a mission-wide power read of the Book of Mormon, which we began February 14th and finished April 13th.  The objective of the power read was to find Jesus Christ, His names, His words, and the teachings and doctrines of His mission.  It was  an amazing and spiritually uplifting experience and we all found an even deeper appreciation and love for the Savior.  Truly, the Book of Mormon is "Another Testament of Christ."

The conference was conducted by Ilagan Zone Leaders Elder Saez and Elder Murdock.  

It began with an opening session taught by President and Sister Rahlf.  After a special musical number, "If the Savior Stood Beside Me," sung by Sisters Aguanta, Allen, Velasco, Ruyeras, Sauder and De Mayo, Sister Rahlf led  a discussion on the power read.  

Then President Rahlf taught about Joseph Smith and the translation of the Book of Mormon.  

Workshops followed:  
"How to Commit to Read and Use the Book of Mormon" taught by Tuguegarao North Zone Leaders Elder Dialino and Elder Odchigue and Sister Training Leaders Sister Ferguson and Sister Mariano 

"Answering Questions of the Soul through the Book of Mormon" taught by Elders Higgins and Antenorcruz. 

Lunch, Birthdays, and a lively activity comprised the next part of the conference. 
We closed with President Rahlf teaching "The Six Ways The Book of Mormon Testifies of Christ" and testimonies from our missionaries. We had a powerful, uplifting and strengthening day, blessed by our friendship and love for each other and our Savior.

It's a great day to be a missionary!
