Passages Departing and Arriving Missionaries May 11, 2016

The morning of Tuesday, May 10th, begins two days of passages for our mission.  With full and grateful hearts, we say "Good-bye and God Bless" to 11 of our faithful missionaries.  We have a special day with them, and then return them with honor to their families the following morning.  The plane that arrives to take them to Manila and points onward, also brings our newest missionaries, and we welcome them with equally full and grateful hearts.
The pulse of the mission continues on in the glorious work of the Lord.

Departure Day
begins with personal
interviews with
President Rahlf...

followed by our
"To Be Continued"
meeting, where we
teach and share counsel
about Returned Missionary Life
and the great future that lies ahead.

We end our meeting with
a very special testimony
meeting as our missionaries
share their testimonies one last time.

After dinner, it's time
for the gathering of ties,
handkerchiefs or other
cloth that we cut for the
Cauayan Mission Quilt.
Before...

After!
CLS certificates were
also awarded.

Memory books

Breakfast the next morning

Leaving words of wisdom and
counsel for the new missionaries
that will arrive later this morning.

One last bit of travel
information and prayer
together...

…and then a look at the
Transfer Board right
before we leave for
the airport.

Smiles and farewells
