First of all--a very, very Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful moms!
We couldn't do it without you!
Happy Mother's Day from Philippines Cauayan |
We've had a very full week in the mission…and a very good one too. Our missionaries are working hard and with their hearts and many are being taught the restored gospel. We are so thankful for our Elders and Sisters.
Mission Leadership Council
May 4
We had a great day of meetings with the mission leadership council (MLC). We focused on working more effectively with members, missionary dress standards and receiving revelations through prayer, as well as addressing needs and issues of the mission. We are grateful for these missionaries taking their turn to serve on the council to help our mission keep improving and going forth.
Role Practice makes
the best missionaries!
New Trainers Training
May 5
We have 11 new missionaries
coming on May 11 and we spent
a morning with their trainers. Our
new missionaries will be in
very good hands.
Career Workshop
May 5
We also have 11 missionaries returning home at the completion
of their missions. Before they go, they attend a Career Workshop that
teaches interviewing/resume skills and gets them prepared for their great future!
The two groups meet up at the lunch break.

preparing, and answering questions
Baptisms
May 7
We had many baptisms across the
mission on Saturday. We are so
thankful for the hard work and
dedication of our missionaries.
Sunday in Naguilian
May 8
President Rahlf and I
travel to a different
ward or branch almost
every Sunday. We were
blessed to meet with
the Saints in Naguilian
this week.
