Servants of the Lord Arrivals December 30, 2015

This beautiful December day we welcomed 24 new missionaries!  It is always such a joy to see the first one come through the door and then to watch for the rest.  They all have great smiles and energy, and we are glad to have them finally here!

It takes a little time to
gather and load all the
luggage...

 But soon we arrive
at the mission home to
be greeted by our Senior
Couple missionary wives

Welcome home!

After introductions, lunch,
brief orientations and a
personal interview with
President Rahlf, it's time
to meet the first companion
in the field.

Lined up and ready to
go to the Church for
our meeting.
Very excited--and maybe
 a little nervous!

The new missionaries
enter the chapel as their
trainers are singing an
energetic "Called to Serve."
It is a happy and touching
welcome.

After meeting companions,
luggage is quickly gathered
and all return to their areas.
It's a wonderful, busy, full,
amazing first day.
