A Day filled with learning: New Trainers, Career Workshop

Wednesday May 27.  It's busy at the Mission Home and the chapel next door.  We have 18 missionaries who will be training when our new arrivals come in a week.  They come in for a morning of training, counsel, and questions answered.  This is a big assignment--one that can leave a lasting effect on a new missionary.  We are grateful for our missionaries who have accepted the call and know they will go forth in faith.

We also have Career Workshop today for our 27 departing missionaries.  Taught by Elder and Sister Leslie, this is a superb program that teaches our missionaries how to prepare for life and jobs and interviews after they return home and go forward in the next phase of their life.  

It was a very good day in Cauayan!

Pressing Forward…Newest Missionaries and their Trainers

May 20th 10:00 AM:  We welcome our missionaries that arrived in the field a month ago along with their trainers for a day of additional training and counsel.  And lunch.  It's a time to take a breath, and learn and be reunited with batch mates.  We really enjoy this day together as we continue to "press forward...with steadfast faith in Christ" on our journey as the Lord's missionaries.  They are off to a great start!
